So, I've got this Trunk..

And I think I want to make it into a coffee table. But I'm not quite sure how to do it. It needs to be higher, so I've been looking at legs. But I don't know what would go best with this particular trunk. And legs are so expensive! I found some I liked, but they were $55. Per leg. Seriously.

I cleaned off the top, so it's not as dirty. It originally had the address of the previous owner but it came right off with a little non-acetone nail polish remover. I was thinking of doing something to the top, but I don't know what. Anna at Simply South Dakotan mentioned ModgePodge, but I'm not quite convinced that would be the best, haha. I'm not too crafty.

What do my loyal(?) readers think I should do?

  1. Acrylic Matte Medium and decorative/wrapping paper. You can get both from an art supply store. It applies exactly like the Mod Podge, but it lasts way longer and doesn't yellow. Just make sure you put a sealant of some sort on there.

Andplusalso, you rock and I luff you :)
